Designing a sustainable future
"Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. "*
Sustainability is our responsibility, which is why Therme Euskirchen is committed to these four core elements under the umbrella of the Josef Wund thermal spa group:
conscious handling of resources
Since the very beginning of Therme Euskirchen, a conscious use of resources has been important to us. For example, our thermal baths were awarded the BUND bat-friendly building award and we have provided a charging station for the electric vehicles of our employees and guests in our parking lot right from the start.
Therme Euskirchen is 100% powered by Ökostorm!
Under the umbrella of the Josef Wund thermal spa group, we have already consciously set sail for a sustainable future in recent years. Extensive investments in energy efficiency have significantly reduced energy consumption. A team of experts is working every day to drive this process forward so that Therme Euskirchen can get ever closer to its goal of climate neutrality.
together for the future
Wund Holding is a signatory to the UN Global Compact. As a subsidiary of Wund Holding GmbH, which is included in the annual Communication on Progress (CoP) to the UN Global Compact, Therme Euskirchen also adheres to the principles of the UN Global Compact.
Regional cooperation is particularly important to Therme Euskirchen:
Employees of Therme Euskirchen actively support the volunteer fire department of the town of Euskirchen during their working hours. This means that employees are released from work at any time for emergencies. In addition, the fire department and police can use the Therme Euskirchen sports pool for training purposes at any time. Therme Euskirchen is also a founding member of the corporate climate protection network.

A strong employer
The aim of the Josef Wund Thermal Spa Group is to retain employees in the company in the long term. Numerous benefits, such as a solid company pension scheme over and above the statutory obligation and attractive additional & social benefits as well as employee credits for free admission to the spa, form important cornerstones of the sustainability strategy.
